Description

Our Mercer Genesis 8" chef's knife didn't fit in the knife block, and it needed a home.

I didn't want to worry about bridge settings so it's two toned, as in two parts.

The indentation is .8mm, deep enough to get it to set in and stay held for a bit but I recommend superglue (or whatever adhesive works for the material you've selected) for a more permanent hold.

Drainage hole at the tip of the knife ensures that fluid can always escape, and the angle of the blade ensures fluid can not pool. That being said, always wash your knife before you put it away.

Has a spot for a 3/4" x 1/4" x 1/8" (19 x 6.4 x 3.2mm) neodymium magnet to provide enough hold to keep the knife from accidentally falling out if it tips. Support is needed for the hole, unless you've got your bridge settings good enough. Tight fit though, so support recommended.

Base is 23mm deep. Mounted this one to an existing knife block using velcro.
