Sandmann (Jon Blund) universal street cleaner, water dispenser

Modified design, based on the first made series of Sandmann universal chassis/frame based vehicles.

This vehicle shares the slightly modified platform with the earlier designed recycling paper & garbage collector.

The most important mounting hardware used:
-2mm dia tooth picks
-3.2mm dia Mikado game sticks.
-3.5mm metal screws for plastic (no machine screws!)

• a.t.m. the seesaw that connects the ladder with the turntable holder thing is for 20mm aluminium extrusion profile I have on hand.
  Will be changed for app. 35mm width in future times.

Upd. combined files now (was separate front & console)

  Center of the shaft of the tilting door mechanism is 25x25 mm away from the bottom & back edges. Think of a holder used for dragging a cable easily from a big spool.

Have increased the lid to the size of a door, so the same container can be used for making a small work shop, selling point of the Ice Cream man and whats not.
-the top sun roof temporarily used.
It's a plate with holes for stands (4* 2mm diameter rods) and two slots for 1mm thin acrylic sheets. Take what you have.

BTW. The OpenScad script works very well. Read, understand, modify, hey give it a try.
Make the water tank with smooth surface and precision.
Hollowed, with/without lids,...

It has not been made fool proof but to me it looks doable, halfways parametrical.

If You have finalized the tank design set the precison for the union part section to 360.
Means the perimeter lines will be made as a polyline out of 360 sectors of one grad revolution or so.

The higher the vlalue the longer ihe calculation takes.
The correction value of 0.3mm makes the lid disks a little smaller tan the openings. Depends on your printer.
Hit F5, F6 before export to STL.
Be patient. Depends on CPU calculation power.

Big base part provided as a single peace and broken into two parts for easier manufacturing.
No matter how the base plate is made ontop goes the assembly of front portion and console with steering wheel.
Base plate with brim V3 was mirrored. Fixed.

The middle portion of the base could be made from a piece of ply wood or other sheet material. Just cut the shape, drill a few holes, make a slot for the back window pane.
Cutting the rear slot is not strictly needed when mounting the back window pane onto the load, i.e the water reservoir.

The water tank can be made from 60mm wood (rod) easily. Much faster than printing.

Load the files in to STL viewer.

Console will be modified for easy mounting on to the front portion by using tooth picks.
