QIDI Tech auxiliary side fan guard

This part prevents print debris from getting into the auxiliary fan on the side. Designed for X-Plus3, but should also fit X-Max3.
PETG or ABS is recommended; avoid PLA. 3-pattern designs are available, as well as a no-mesh type for designing your own mesh part. I recommend the gyroid infill mesh one with modifier. It is printed on the reverse side as I like the finish with the texture of the bed transferred.
The clearance between the bed and the fan is very tight, so be sure to insert the pins completely all the way to the back.

Print with a layer height of 0.2mm.
To print the gyroid infill mesh type, Set the infill type to gyroid and density to 25%. load “QIDISideFanguard_Solid.stl” into the slicer and load “QIDISideFanguard_modifier.stl” as the modifier. Set 0 top and bottom solid layers in the modifier settings. This leaves the infill bare and functions as a mesh.
