Macro Cannon Lite 67 Medium Format Camera

I originally made this a fixed 5x magnification Macro camera using the Fujinon W 210mm f 5.6 Large Format lens in normal orientation. After trying it in reverse it works even better.
You can use almost any 35mm medium format or large format camera lens you have. You will need to add far less extension for shorter focal lengths. A Reversed 50mm for a 135 camera takes only about 2x-3x the focal length to cover 6x7. The more you add the more magnification you gain. This works very well with enlarger lenses such as the El-Nikkor ones.

You will need a Scotch Mailing Tube, 1 Tube, 4 in x 48 in They cost about $8 at a FedEx store or about $22 on Amazon. Unfortunately, they ship the tube without packaging from Amazon.

I used M3 and 1/4x20 inserts in a few places as well as m3 nuts and m3x8mm bolts for the front standard and film back holder. The magnets are 10mm x 3mm

One last thing I used was adhesive-backed black felt or flock for the inside of the tube as well as a piece for both the film back holder and ground glass holder. Only use the felt on the two. Don't use any on the rear standard or the focus will be off. The ground glass should be pointed rough side towards the lens. Cut your glass 61mm x71mm. The file names have an "x" at the end telling you the number of prints required.

When using this camera I would suggest not using a shutter. I used a set of speed lights and strobes with a wireless trigger. Place both the camera and subject on the same leveled surface. Focus by moving the camera back and forth with the ground glass back installed. Once Focus has been found, frame your shot and turn off the lights. Remove the Ground glass holder and install the film back holder. Pull the dark slide with lights out. Trigger the strobes/speed lights then insert the dark slide. Cycle/advance your film back and repeat.
