Description

This is a hungarian-developed and -built firefighting tank. "Big Wind", as it is most widely known as, sports two Mig-21 jet engines over which the water hoses are positioned. With the thrust generated by the turbines, the water can be pushed forward with immense pressure. This way, the vehicle was able to extinguish the burning oil wells in Iraq that were set on fire after the american invasion.
Originally, it was made with a T-34 hull, but later it was switched to T-55 hull. Both are available.

This kit is based on M_Bergman's T-55 and T-34 models. I have adjusted according to the images I could find of the vehicle. The engine is based on a photogrammetry jet engine model I found on sketchfab. The files are in 1/100 scale.

To see how to assemble, refer to the exploded view image. If you import all elements together in a 3D editor, you will get them in this arrangement as well.
Note that the JetEngineUnderblind has to be printed twice and the JetEngineHoldingRing has to be printed 4 times.
To connect the engines to the turret, use a toothpick, shashlik skewer or metal rod in similar thickness. For the water hoses, I used a bit of audio cable I had laying around. I decided to use this instead of printing the hoses, because I wanted the engines to remain moveable. If you don't need that, use whatever you want. For the wire cage in the center, I used fly gauze and pieces of plastic cut to size.
