Description
Picatinny 45 Degree offset rail mount with thumb screw mount
slight variations in model was made specifically for the mounting clip to prevent plastic from breaking, had to make the clip tooth a bit thicker and give some material on top of it
accurate to real dimensions no clearance was made i included the F3D file if it does not fit your rail just scale by 0.1 mm or as much as you like
use a 4 mm screw without a head or a threaded 4 mm rod to attach the thumb mount
i left a 2 mm hole at the end for a knurled threaded insert
the thumb mount has a 1 mm hole on the sides for a recessed set screw to fix it to the screw
you can use superglue if you want
you do not necessarily need a 4 mm screw for this anything lower can work as long as it fits the knurled threaded insert
now i know the hole on the thumb mount is 4 mm and i said use a 4 mm screw and logically it wont fit so i am here to make you happy
to make it fit your screw measure the head of the screw say it was 5 mm what do you do ?
open my F3D file that i included and scale the thumb mount by as much as you want for it to be able to fit the screw head, then just simply make a 5 mm hole in it and export it to whatever file type you like, you can as will make it much bigger this is a 5 slot rail if you want say 8 slots you can just simply extrude the rail
the slots are 5.25 mm and in between each slot is 4.75 mm
if you want to offset to 60 degrees let me know and i can make another one
thank and have fun
