Legend of Zelda BOTW/TOTK Royal Claymore

BLADE SEGMENT 4 WAS FOUND TO CAUSE ISSUES ON CURA BASED SLICERS, UPDATED AND FIXED PART UPLOADED ON 4/5/2024.

PURSA/BAMBU BASED SLICERS ARE UNAFFECTED

Royal Claymore from the switch line of Zelda games.

To print this you will need the following items
-72" long 3/4" thick wooden dowel
-36" long 5/16" thick wooden dowel
-saw to cut dowels to length
-two part epoxy to glue all parts to dowels, i use JBweld plastic bonder
-strong fast curing glue for hilt, i use krazy glue after sanding the two attaching surfaces.

for printing i would suggest printing the 3 grip parts and pommel with a high infill (20% or more) and for the hilt and blade a low infill (10% is what i used)

for most parts minus the pommel i used tree supports and pommel was normal supports.
the blade tip(segment 6) and grip bottom i did not use supports, if you do make sure you block supports from the inner support holes or have fun trying to get them out.

as for blade segment 1 left and right you will need supports but make sure you use a support blocker for the 5/16 support holes

this required 1.8kg of fillament and took 20 hours of printing on two printers at 180mm/s overall speeds.
