Legacy Tesla Model 3 HUD Phone Mount

I searched far and wide for the perfect phone mount for the pre-refresh Tesla Model 3, a mount that would not block air vents, and would utilize the empty dashboard of the car.

Having an aftermarket yoke, this mount makes the most sense for a heads up display. Using Enhanced Auto's S3XY commander the dashboard is front and center, right below the road.

I used double sided tape on the upper bottom of the mount to secure, then used hair ties to create a spring effect to lock the phone in place.

This design comes in two variants, with case (thicker), and no case (thinner). You can change the Z scale of the mount base for larger devices. Fusion360 source included.
