Description

Upd. See the picture of the b/w postcard.
Surprise. At least on of the real Sandmann hovercrafts did have a canopy.
I have never seen on any fotograph before I found that picture today.

This is the lovely Sandmann tiny Hovercraft designed by Harald Serowski (1974)
Sandmann was born in the GDR November 1959.
The Sandmann is still present, on some of the daily episodes on german public TV.
That hapened each and every day exactly at 18:50. That was the case before the f*** western occupants raided the homeland by the year 1990.

Continuing making a smaller version.
see the V2 files, footprint 70x81mm (less printing time)
-standard seat (22 width) from my Sandmann cars

Files (beta)
-body split in two halfes for easy printing,
-vertical tail wing with propeller mount & skirt
-seat
-propeller
-air intake cover

Things that may come someday or never, ever. hwo knows.

-console -steering organ
-the silvery decorative band, see similar on the first release of the Sandmann space craft https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4015527

Parts used:

  • tooth picks 2mm
  • stick 2.5mm (axle on propeller)
  • red, green, white LED 5mm diameter
