DeLonghi Essenza Mini Large Cup Mod

NOTE: This will not fit the Breville Essenza Mini, which has a different front profile.

Our 13 year old(!) DeLonghi Latissma+ finally bit the dust, and we replaced it with a smaller DeLonghi Essenza Mini.

However we quickly discovered that most of our coffee cups were either too tall or too "bowl shaped" to be used with the new machine.

To deal with this I designed a replacement set of parts.

The primary changes are a low profile cup drip tray with a larger base to accommodate taller, wider coffee mugs, and a "bowed in" front profile to allow some of our mugs to be in far enough to go under the outlet spot.

Because the parts have some unavoidable overhangs due to how the original parts are designed to fit into the machine, you will need to enable supports for...

  • Automatic generates a lot of unnecessary supports, so I'd recommend doing it manually and select only the area shown in the images. - I used Orca Slicer's Type: Tree (Manual), Style: Tree Hybrid

Make sure you print the CupDripTrayGrill "upside down" so that the top side is lying on the print bed - the STL version of the CupDripTrayGrill is already in the correct orientation.
