Telescoping Swords - Print in Place

This sword (or I guess these swords) was/were my second endeavor in creating some print in place models. Since the first one printed so well I decided to go bigger, and bigger, and bigger.

There are a couple of different lengths, 4 to be exact, all of which have the same collapsed length but a different number of telescopic segments. With the longer lengths and more segments, the handle just grows to a larger diameter. All of the handle designs are the same, just a different extended length.

Print orientation: Stand the sword on the sword-point end. Do not lay the model on its side (some slicers may import it this way). Do not stand it up on the handle's-end.

All of these swords I've printed out of PLA and they tested out very good. See the YouTube video if you're interested in some 'behind the model' type stuff. These things are fun as heck and make a cool noise when they extend. I'm starting to feel like a kid again playing with them!

Durability: I wouldn't get into a fencing match or sword fight with them, they are toys.
I probably wouldn't hit them against things either, I mean... it's a 3D print right?

These swords are all Print-in-Place or "Print & Play", once they're done printing there is no assembly. Pluck these swords from the print bed and begin your obsession with printing the others.

Raft, Supports, Brim? I did not use any of these. The design is intentional to not use these if oriented standing up on the blade end. I do not know what the consequences would be if any of these were applied during the print job.

I applied a lot of the things I learned from the last model I posted (the print in place butterfly knife) to this one. It's kind of a continuation of learning thing for me, if I don't repeat and reapply what I learned I just tend to forget it...
