Handy for those times you wished you had a third hand: use as anything from an oversized solder stand, to holding things while they dry, or when you Dremel the daylights out of something, etc.
- Stand-alone or clamp the stand to keep it secure, in the centre or using the tabs.
- Use the bracket on top for a secure and permanent connection.
- The walls of the holes in the base add compression strength.
- The flanged screw adapter can be used to mount the bracket to a bench with an M6 (1/4") bolt (h/t
ziz62266).
- There are two versions:
-- One using four M3x12 (or longer) screws, washer and nuts, because everyone has some of those kicking around, and
-- The other using four M4x25 (or a bit longer) cap screws, washers and nuts (assemble upside down so your nuts don't fall out). Although the M3 version is plenty strong, this one is stronger.
