Description

The purple and silver rocket in the photo is the Spike. It is a 29mm motored model rocket based on a Pringles can. As a variation, more than one can can be used with the included coupler. You'll need to supply your own 29mm motor tube but the retainer is part of the design. You'll also need to supply recovery equipment, of course.

Ideally, print this in LW PLA. I've included the OpenRocket (ORK) file I used when designing this. Use this file as a guide when figuring out how much infill you should use for the nosecone. A longer rocket should need less infill. The way I did mine, I ended up with a pretty chonky nose to get the CG to a happy place. As you can see from the video below, though, if flew fine on an F23FJ-4.
