Description
The Little Dude (Tenna).
QRP EFHW with BNC and tabs to snap on Wago connectors. Still PLENTY to do to this, but if you would love to test this out, I would love to see it in action. (Video coming soon)
V2 is labeled MiniLite.stl and has no Wago connectors. Win win.
I've really grown to enjoy the makerspace and appreciate the opportunity to get to post these things.
What I used for printing:
ASA Filament (I am a polymakers fan)
Bambu X1C
No Supports
Parts for the antenna:
2 Wago connectors: https://amzn.to/3KMgFnq (affiliate link provided, you could probably get them cheaper at ace hardware or HAM depot ;).
2 Toroids - 5943000601
Fair-Rite Ferrite Toroids / Ferrite Rings

and

a BNC Connector from Amazon (Affiliate link again, but seriously, no obligation):

Wire: I used Alpha wire from the 80's or something. I got it at a thrift store and it is #30 wire. Super tiny.
Magnet Wire: 22awg Bntechgo (https://amzn.to/3xkHUCI)
Capacitor - 3kv101 - Try any 100pf capacitor :).
49:1 is how I did it, but look at how it's laid out, you can easily make a 1:1 Dipole, 9:1 unun, 4:1 whatever.... Just have fun. Also note, the winding in the photo is just an example. DO NOT use this as a reference.
Things to fix:
BNC Connector is just a circle. My prior designs will show that I could shape it to the connector, so it doesn't move around.
Add in a clip to help keep the Wagos in place.
WHY? Why not? But also, it's really nice to have the ability to snap in any wire. Maybe your wire broke, maybe you got to Floriday and realized you needed wire, maybe you go out to the store and get wire...SNAP..
But really, to learn more and more. I hope you do the same.
By the way, you do not need the winder. Check out this video for a quick example (But also, I will have a video where I do a detailed build and check functionality, etc)
