Dodge Ram Switch Panel 2006 - 2009 Cummins 2500 and 3500

This is a switch panel for a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins. It's contoured to fit in the wasted empty section of the trim below the cigarette lighters.
I believe it will fit:
2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 & Dodge Ram 3500
2006-2008 Dodge Ram 1500

Printing instructions:

• Because this goes in your car, you should use something other than PLA. I used PETG.
• You'll need supports for the "ledge", but you probably don't need supports anywhere else - the 45* screw down bracket, and the holes should print well enough without supports. They did for me on my SV06.
• I used Cura's "support blocker" feature to only support the ledge. I printed at 15% support, using lines only to make removing support as easy as possible.
• I ran into a problem with retraction heat creep on my Sovol SV06, so I ended up using the following print settings:
• 1mm retraction (instead of 2mm by default)
• 30 retractions within 3 mm (instead of 90 retractions within 1mm)
• Unless you have a 300mm print volume, you'll need to print it in two portions, and then bolt them together with 1/4-20 screws (which is what I did). I included STL's of both the right and left halves, and also a full complete unit.

You'll also need M3 heat set inserts (and m3 screws). The holes are sized at 4.1mm, which is the right size for these inserts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CZRD2Y49/

I included a photo with the necessary dimensions for the face plate covers. I also included a few sample face plate covers in case you don't want to design your own. I sized them for 12mm, and 20mm switches.

If you look at the photos you'll see how I was able to sneak the wires along the side/top of the trim piece, and then through the holes in the bracket I designed.

I used 1/2 #8 sheet metal screws to attach the switch panel bracket to the trim itself.

Also, you may notice that the switch panel in the photo is slightly different from the one shared here. When I decided to share it, I decided it would be easier for people to work with if the face plate cover was square instead of contoured, and mitered like the original had to be. So I haven't actually printed this exact version, but I'm confident it will work. Please let me know if it doesn't for some reason! Also, please let me know if it works great for you! :)
