Airsoft .►. Impact Sound Grenade FullBodyPrint Version by Spaboy

Thanks to GoticWar for the initial design!!!

After printing some of the initial design I found it very unreliable as pieces were breaking , specially the lock systems.

so I though.. could I remake it without having the unscrew few pieces to load / unload the grenade and at the same time make it more robust?

So I put together all the GoticWar pieces possible to print the entire body, and i added a lever so you can load the spring without having to access to inner of the grenade by unscrewing parts.
Some minor adjustments were done to be able to print it without major problems.

Also my colleagues at the Ronin Vigo airsoft team asked me if was posible to make it louder explosion. So i've added 3 screws on bottom.

You can use 1 (centered) , 2 (on the sides) or 3 screws depending of the level of noise you want to achieve.

As the gap is small to insert and remove the caps, I've designed a loaderTool, that allows you to load easily the caps, and upload them after use just from the side opening of the grenade.

Hardware needed:

• 1x M5x5 screw and 2x M5 Nut
• 1x to 3x M4x3 screws and same amount of M4 nuts
• 1x Compression spring of 1cm diameter (and 6/7cm long but depends on the compression strenght)
• Rivets or M2 screws for the spoon
• Spring. Ideal to have a spring of 15mm Ext size, mine is 12 and is a bit tight , but still the M5 screw with the ring can fit in, just is a bit more complex to load it up. so I had to open it a bit on the top to not disturb during the loading, and it also prevents it to fail after hammered. You can also press it a bit to the nut. The size of the spring is about 6.5-7 cms. (see picture of the hammer with the spring)

16/07/2024 Edit:

• Added lever_guided, I recommend to use this lever/hammer design, as it will slide inside the body tube without inclinating and hammering straight into the cap. It has been also reinforced cause the basic lever can break.
  You will need to assembly the hammer with the M5 screw and the spring inside the body, by first inserting the hammer/lever, then the spring and the M5 screw from the top of the body while screwing it into the hammer (is a bit more difficult to assembly but is worth for the final stability)
• Excentric ring is ideal to get better grip of the hammer when loaded, assembly with the excentric side downwards to the hammer, its also a bit higher than the original ring allowing to be used on M5 thread without big head. You will have to make sure that the excentric area is pointing to the retaining zone of the body.

Bonus: If you want to have better sensibility and the grenade to trigger even throwing it on the grass or soft land you have to sand the ring on the bottom part to make it more rounded, but be aware cause it can also lead into unwanted triggering while the spoon is not on, or just on release of the grenade.
