Description
This is my simple design of a can holder system. I've seen some that are pretty similar but this one is mine from years back, now decided to upload for others to enjoy.
Most clear way to hold any kind of cans on walls or shelves and still see the labels. Just point out the area where you want to store the cans, screw the parts on the wall as you prefer and that's it. Easy push - pull function
The original file is for regular 66 mm cans such as rattle cans, wd40, soda, beer, etc.
Then if you need smaller ones just scale the files to 90 % or 80 % and the smaller cans will fit perfectly.
Each part is to be installed with a countersink screw, just don't over tighten or the part will crack of course
My settings have been:
2 wall count, randomize z seam alignment
3 % infill (line type infill), connect the lines
No supports
2 bottom layers
3 top layers (just in case)
Print orientation in picture
I've printed hundreds of these with many different printers from PLA, ABS and PETG and none have ever failed.
If you have very heavy cans or the cans have to sustain heavy vibrations I have printed two of the upper parts so it really holds on nicely.
The most clean way on a wall you get is by drawing straight lines on the wall and place the parts symmetrically along the line so that the cans bottom is always in same height.
Works great also in cars, shelves, cabinets etc
