2.2 hp outboard motor tilt block

Only needed on 2 - 3 hp motors without a tilt pin.
Make a strap to attach the tilt block to the motor as shown in photos.
I used 1/16" aircraft steel cable. I made an eye on each end tilt block first and then around the motor clamp second, using simple heat shrink tubing. Double up the heat shrink for extra durability. Plan ahead you need to put two tubes on then start heat the first one in place then move the second one over the first and heat it.
When installing on motor, start by positioning the block at the bottom of the motor mounting bracket, then slide it up to the support position. It stores out of the way in the down position, just slide up and forward to prop the motor in tilt position.
