Description
I bought a used soldering station WS81 from Weller without a stand for the soldering iron. The original ones from Weller are terribly expensive, so I decided to create my own. A M22 nut fits perfectly for the WPH-80, I smoothed out the threads using silicone to protect the front plastic parts of the soldering iron. All parts are screwed together, so it's easy to replace a broken part. Screws are 10mm x 2,2mm. You can add some metal parts to increase the weight of the stand, I used a bunch of M6 nuts. Here you can find the copper wire for cleaning the tip:
The diameter of the round metal box is about 65mm.
