UFO

This UFO on a light cone was designed to fire the light up into the saucer to move all of the lighting and cords into the base to make it more stable than if those parts were in the saucer. My hopes was that it looks like the light is coming from the saucer. Not sure I succeeded, but it looks nice anyway.

Edit July 8, 2026: Changed the base to handle new type of light. Added photos showing new light in base. The new base is compatible with the original light. Added comment about using vase mode for the light cone.

Edit July 11, 2026: Added photo of saucer top and bottom printed with silver silk PLA.

Edit July 12, 2026: Added STL for a bumpy base, a more organic looking base. Used the excellent bumpmesh.com tool from CNC Kitchen to build the surface. Print either the normal base or the bumpy base.
