Merkur/Sierra radiator and washer tank sensor float

This is a float for the radiator tank and the washer tank sensor for a Ford/Merkur Scorpio. I suspect Sierra and XR4 might have used the same and possibly other European Fords of same vintage.

Typically the float in the washer tank fails over the years. But this float will work in both tanks.

Print hollow with about 5 walls in a high temp material. Nylon or PC.
An epoxy paint coating would help ensure a good seal.

If just the washer tank then print hollow in ABS and then acetone vapor seal.

A 6mm (or smaller) magnet gets epoxied in the hole to activate the reed switch in the main body of the sensor.
