###HTC VIVE XR Elite Quest 2 Strap Compatible System Beta Rev 2
As the user who normal using the VIVE XR Elite's and the arms was cracked twice with no reason.
I've had enough of HTC's defective hardware designs, and planed to try to design a replacement to fix the problem from the source.

####What is this?
This is the replacement strap system for super advance user which let user using Quest 2 strap at HTC VIVE XR Elite(XRE).
Suitable for user already tired of XRE arms cracking and cannot get replacement part to repair.

####Changes on Rev 2:

• Resize main arms and speaker holes for reduce gaps between arms and straps, and secure speakers to prevent pop off when using XRE
• Fine tune the tolerance on volume button and cover for better button pressing experience
• Improve the design for easy alignment when installing main arms
• Remove unnecessary gaps and add fillets for better appearance and reduce sharp corners

####Note:
The orientation of provided model is well set, user may check image 2 for reference if needed.
Please make sure print the model with Support "Everywhere", and set Contact Z Distance(Top and Bottom) at Support setting tab to "0.2mm" to make removing support little bit easier.

To assemble this strap system, user will also needs following specification screw:

• 3 x CM2x3 screws (For better thread the screw on the volume button cover, suggested replace one to CM2x4 screw)
• 7 x CM2x12 screws
• 2 x CM2x16 screws

Both of them are flat head surface, flat head surface thickness in 0.8mm and diameter in 4mm, user may check image 3 for reference.

####Design advantage:

• Completely reversible since it does not need broke any current parts when doing this mod
• Keep compatibility of different kinds of face gasket included the Full Face Tracker
• No more temple pain when using XRE
• Let user replace any Quest 2 strap as user want
• Open source with all CAD files for design its Eco-System

####Design disadvantage:

• Using opened hinge design - Suggest storage the XRE when is unused to prevent dust get into XRE
• The USB cable is in inward of the strap - User need to think of the cable routing

####Warning:
To using this strap system, user will need to completely teardown the original arms.
This action will void user's warranty. Suggest replace this strap system when is out of warranty and already cracked.

####Disclaimer:
This strap system is in beta, but is stable for use.
The reason why call as beta because this Quest 2 mount is flat instead of curve as original.
It can snap the strap tightly for sure, but it may crack the strap itself when removing it, therefore use it at user's own risk.
