Ender-3 V3 Plus Filament Sensor Mount

A filament sensor mount to relocate the filament sensor for the Ender 3 V3 Plus. This is good if you remount the spool holder to the top of the printer. In my case the spool is mounted to the right of the printer on my printer stand using the universal spool holder gen 2. This mount should work with other top mounted spool holders too.

This mounts on the upright braces. The clamp is a tight fit, so the screws only need to be tightened a little bit.

Hardware needed:
For the clamp two 3mm x 30mm socket head screws and two locknuts.
For the filament sensor use the original screws to install onto the filament mount.
For the bottom of the filament mount a self tapping 3mm x 8mm screw.

Assembly:

1. Put the clamp on the brace at a height that will not interfere with the printhead.
2. Put in the two 3mm x 30mm screws.
3. Put the hold down on with the tab facing out
4. Install the nuts and tighten a little bit
5. Install the filament sensor onto the filament mount and insert into the clamp.
6. Put in the self tapping screw, but do not tighten all the way to allow the mount to swivel.
