18cm embroidery hoop

a simple, 18cm embroidery hoop - to hold fabric while you darn/embroider it, etc.

It may seem thin, but it works very well, take it from me as I have used it several times and it has not broken.

It requires an m4 bolt and a nut to go with it - you need to hot glue the bolt into the knob provided (ensure the knob is at the top of the bolt - the head should fit into the slot, if not, ensure that they are pressed up against eachother and glued strongly), so that you can adjust the hoop without the need of a screwdriver.

not required but reccomended is a small spring, large enough to fit over the bolt and between the two armatures of the external hoop, so it expands when the bolt is loosened. other than that, it is very simple to use. Simply print all 3 pieces, and assemble, <5 minutes of prep total.

If your nut is not fitting into the hexagonal slot provided, try, very carefully, to hold it with a pair of pliers and heat the nut up with a lighter, before pressing it carefully into the slot, to allow it to melt the plastic and fit.
