Tyro 129 Upgrade Parts

For the 10 people that own a Tyro 129 here in 2024, here are some epic part upgrades for you! And for the 2 of you that also own a GoPro Hero4, included is a mount for it! Aside from that, included are motor wire covers (2 variants, one with holes for t-style receiver antennas) and a new mount for the VTX antenna that places it at 45°.

I recommend printing the antenna mount and GoPro mount with TPU. The motor wires can be anything. Ensure that the motor wire covers with the antenna holes is placed flat on the print bed. It has a slopped top surface while the other motor wire cover does not.

Assembly:
The motor wire covers are zip-tied onto the arms. The VTX antenna mount slides onto the frame standoffs just like the original. Screw on the antenna to the VTX cable with the VTX mount in-between before assembling the mount on the quad. Slide the GoPro in from the side and secure it with a battery strap. The GoPro mount is secured to the frame via the frame standoff front two screws, and one additional M3 screw and a lock nut in the rear with an additional printed piece. I used longer M3 screws for the front two top frame screw holes for the GoPro mount, I think M3x10, and same for the rear screw.
