Description
A miniature version of the Tri-dimensional chess from Star Trek, which is the ideal size for figures like those from Playmobil. Since it is a rather complicated print, I recommend using PVA as support material, but it also works without it if you use Tree-supports and set a very large distance to the model. I tried that out printing a second version on my Ender 3 Pro, the pictures for comparison can be found above and after a few tries and a lot of patience I was able to print the chess in one piece without breaking anything. However, it's much easier with PVA, I just wanted to point out that it would work with any single-headed printer as well. If you managed to print it one way or another, you'll need to print out the Tri-dimensional chess.pdf to get the checkerboard pattern, which will then be attached with super glue. When it's all finished, it's definitely a cool accessory for any Mr. Spock or Captain Kirk. Hope you enjoy.
