Description
The initial goals for creating this handle were threefold:
The final solution, utilizes the lens mount to securely clamp the handle in place. This design eliminates the need for adhesives or screws while maintaining an extremely light weight of just 4g, adding virtually no extra burden.
Driven by an obsession with compactness, I opted for a blade-inspired aesthetic that reduces material usage while maximizing visual appeal.
Of course, compromises were inevitable. The grip isn't as comfortable as it could be, but at least it allows me to handle large zoom lenses without constantly squeezing the camera tightly or worrying about it slipping.
Due to the unique concave grooves of the blade-shaped design, I couldn’t ensure a perfect fit for everyone’s fingers, even after multiple revisions. The current version fits my hand quite well, but feedback from others indicates that the grip might not be ideal for everyone.
You can think of this handle as a conceptual design.
