- AMS compatible: correct dimensions, solid rims, filament-start locked to spool for rewinds/retracts.
- For leftover filament and commercial refills:
- Fits Bambu Lab® refills with the notched cardboard hub and equivalent (e.g., Polymaker)
- For Prusa® refills which have a bigger cardboard hub, using the provided adapter

Standard Print Co with room for their thick, reusable velcro straps (thumbs-up to that idea!)
- Full-height hub and separate guide helps loading refills without hubs
