Ratrig V-Core 3.1 carbon X-carraige - Also part for upgrading for use with V-Core 4.0 X-carriage / motion parts

If like me you upgrade your VC 3.1 with VC 4.0 core-XY / hybrid parts (supplied by Funssor) then the following may be useful.

Included are modified Ratrig part designed for converting a C-Core 3 / 3.1 X carraige to be used with a V-Core 4 motion (CoreXY or Hybrid) X-carraige.

Parts

1. vc4_xy_spacer v2 - Modified for use with a CF X-Carriage rod
2. Insert part for fitting a CF X-Carriage rod to a standard V-Core 3 / 3.1
3. Mini spacer to help with fitting the linear rail to the 3030 T-slot extrusion - in my experience 3030 T-slot is not directly compatible with linear rails, which can result in the rail not fitting flat to the T-slot effectively twisting or being at an angle. When used with the Ratrig linear rail alignment print these parts can be inserted into the T-slot between the T-nuts, they are intended to help ensure a flish and level fit (you will need to print 20 or so for each rail.
   Note

• the above x-carriage part uses 2020 t-inserts of the type used to secure the linear rail to the x-carriage.
• also a 3mm knotch should be cut into the middle metal plate of the x-carriage (see picture) in order to accomodate the linear rail

The standard VC-4 x-carraige design appears to make use of a longer x-carriage (2020 extrusion) rod than a standard VC-3 x-carriage (600mm), therefore when upgrading to fit the VC-4.0 x-carriage parts onto a VC-3.1 frame the x-carriage linear rail needs to be either cut-down to 595mm or preferrably recess made in the ends of the x-carriage parts - the above modified part and the included picture showing a knotch made in the middle x-carriage metal plate for this purpose.
