Description
Give your light base 600/900 the individual look!
Do you like brick building and assembling things? Well then this project might be something for you (don't worry if not; it's a short building process).
Thanks to 3D printing, you can design and manufacture hollow objects like this diamond lantern. If your printer can handle overhangs (normally it should), you can print this easily without any support structures.
First of all, you have to print out the 3D objects. That's why you are here, right? So you need to print four sets of the attached objects.
After that you assemble the feet as described below and in the pictures.
The following versions give you evidence about the design and complexity of assembling.
There are four recommended color versions:
Non shining diamond (without LED, easy to assemble) -> Base and ring cover printed in black or white and diamond in the color you prefer (for example, gold)
Clear shining diamond (with LED, needs electronics knowledge) -> Base and ring cover printed in black or white and diamond out of translucent filament
White shining diamond (with LED, needs electronics knowledge) -> Base and ring cover printed in white and diamond out of white filament
(not so bright but maybe a better match with the white case)
For each diamond, you will need the following items:
For each "shining" diamond (with LED), you will also need:
