Battlestar Galactica Athena Class Fast Cruiser

It’s a Fast Attack Cruiser. She’s like the Archeron I modified this Cruiser from. It’s a cruiser and as cruisers go, its cruiserish… It’s slimmer, shorter… The Armor that the Archeron Model lost is back on this model. It’s got the Guns, Nukes, clearly, its 4 out of 12 launch doors are open. It also has the armored Corridor’s between the Forecastle and Flight Pods, Archeron once had. Its engines are modded too.

So if you want to climb on the Cruiser designation bus, this is the fast attack version. It’s balanced with power and speed, where Archeron, its derivative was balanced on both but had more to offer displacement wise. More ammo dumping. Even in space it’s a trade off. In a vacuum where room is infinite, you’d never really think about how priceless every square foot is. So the idea is, this one goes along with a task force instead of being on its own. Maybe escorts a Scoutstar on detached service for the Task Force. It’s whatever you want it to be. I left the name plate clear, so you can make it your own, and put the Colonial emblem back on it, since it’s not part of the Ghost Fleet.

Ya this one, totally not escaping the other Heavy Cruisers shadow anytime soon. But, it’s a cruiser, what else can I say?
