Outdoor Candy Cane Spike Adapter

The original stake tops tend to get brittle and fragile. This is meant to work with a metal tent spike with a diameter of 7.5mm. These are usually listed as 10-inch tent stakes or spikes. They have a normal diameter of 7.5mm. Some metal stakes do taper up to 8.1mm to hold their handle. This is not meant to sit flush at the top.

I am using PLA now, as I can't print PETG at the moment.

Print with Tree supports. You can rotate it 10.5 degrees and print it up right. I print it slanted to give it more rigidity across the layer lines.

My test unit did shrink slightly . I warped it in a few turns of plastic-wrap and it seems to work just fine.
