Description
A paddle to add to the Switchbot Curtain V3, to force your 'grommet' type curtains to sit nicely so they overlap in the middle. Has a cutout so the LED on the curtain unit is not blocked. I found that with 2 grommet curtains that meet in the middle, there was usually a gap left even if the Switchbot units were pulled fully together, simply by the way the curtains would hang. A grommet type curtain naturally wants to hang at 90 degrees to the pole.
IF YOU HAVE THE OPTIONAL SOLAR PANELS
Print:
2 x "Upper_Paddle_With_Solar"
1 x "Lower_Paddle_Left"
1 x "Lower_Paddle_Right"
Optionally 1 x "Removal_Tool"
Unclip the solar panel from the curtain motor, and fit an upper paddle to the clip. The left paddle should be facing the window and the right paddle should be facing the curtain. Reinsert the solar panel into the curtain motor. You can then clip the lower paddles onto the top of the solar panels. The squeeze clips to remove the solar panel from the curtain motor are no longer easily accessible by hand. You can remove them with a small flathead screwdriver, by pushing a credit-card in either side, or I have also provided a removal tool you can print if you are stuck!
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE SOLAR PANELS
Print:
2 x "Upper_Paddle_No_Solar"
These should clip into the underside of the curtain motor where the solar panel would normally attach. I have found the clip design can be quite fragile but you aren't going to be taking them on and off regularly. There is space for a USB cable to pass through the paddle.
It doesn't work as well without the lower paddle on the solar panels, so your mileage may vary depending on the material of your curtain, how heavy the fabric is, etc.
