10-inch Rack Mount Hard Drive Cage

A set of shelves for up to 8 standard 3.5-inch hard drives. Sized to fit 3U of a 10 inch mini rack (specifically designed for DeskPi Rackmate, may or may not work well with others). Simply slide the drives in through the back, secure the drives to the outer walls with hard drive mounting screws, and mount on your rack.

I recommend printing with the front of the enclosure on the build plate.
Print options:
(1) "full" - the whole enclosure can be printed as one piece if you have a build plate at least 10 inches wide. Do this if you can.
(2) "left" and "right" - I have split the enclosure into two pieces to fit smaller build plates. Print both pieces, then glue together; alignment is achieved by slotting the hexagonal pegs into the corresponding holes. I recommend either using supports for the pegs, or just removing any misaligned layers from the pegs (use flush cutters, a knife, etc. to cut away any stray filament), they don't need to be perfect. I strongly recommend clamping the inner walls together while the glue sets; otherwise, the halves may not sit flush and the assembly may not fit on your rack.
