Here is my insert for the board game ‘The White Castle’.
My requirement was that the insert should not only allow you to store all components clearly and safely in the box, but also provide added value when playing. That's why I included the clan grids (that you can find online from various users in many variations). In addition, the long box only contains the things you need during the game. So you can simply place this box next to your game plan.
The insert consists of:
- 4 x whitecastle_player.stl (85x54mm)
Fits all 15 meeples (on a grid that can be placed right on the domain bord) and other player’s components (3 resource cubes and 3 token in the player’s color).
- whitecastle_bridges.stl (111x110mm)
For the 15 dice and 3 bridges (upside down). As the black cubes are slightly larger than the others (in my game version), the middle shaft is 1 mm longer.
- whitecastle_cards.stl (111x61mm)
For all small cards, the round marker, the yard tiles and die tiles.
- whitecastle_coins.stl (170x42mm)
Storage and token box for coins, daimyo seals and clan point tiles.
- whitecastle_coins_lid.stl (170x42mm)
Optional lid for the coins box.
- whitecastle_cover.stl (140x108mm)
For the large overview cards. But this part mainly ensures that the meeple do not fly around and that the domain boards do not slip.
I look forward to constructive feedback. If you print it, I would appreciate a photo.
