Description
HO scale model of a simple garage, featuring rusticated concrete block walls, roof framing, and fine corrugated roofing.
Rusticated concrete block is concrete block with a decorative outside face cast to resemble rough or worked stone. This style of block appeared in the late 19th century and was used for homes, utility buildings, and commercial buildings. This model is based on a small garage in Syracuse, New York, found on this site --

I was curious to see how the block texture would print in HO scale on an FDM printer. I used Polymaker Polyterra matte PLA for the walls; the effect looks pretty good.
All parts for the model in the photo are printed at 0.1mm layers with a 0.2mm extruder. Parts are separated for easy painting or for printing in different colours.
These parts need supports and rafts:
walls.stl works best with a raft or brim but does not need supports
roof_ridge.stl needs a raft and supports
garage_door_frame.stl needs a raft and supports
roof_sheathing.stl needs a raft
Print two each of the following:
rafters.stl
gable_sheathing.stl
gable_fascia.stl
gable_framing.stl
door.stl
window.stl
Print one each of all other parts.
