Plant Tag for 12mm P-touch Labels

This Plant Tag design is sized to use 12mm self-adhesive labels that are commonly used by P-touch label makers and similar home label machines. (https://www.ptouchdirect.com/brother-ptouch-label-printers.html) You can also write on the tag if you prefer not to use the self-adhesive labels. The labels have a narrow spike to minimize the soil disturbance when inserting/removing them from plant containers. I designed the tag to be quick and efficient to print in multiples. The shape of the tag is simple, and the thickness of the tag is keyed to the layer thickness set in the printer. For example, the included sets of tags are .6mm thick and my printer is set to print .2mm thick layers, so I set the printer to print one bottom layer and two top layers. You should be able to scale up the thickness of the tags in your slicing software if you want thicker tags, but I have found .6mm to be a good compromise between printing efficiency and tag durability. I have included files with six, twelve and twenty-four .6mm thick tags. The file with a single tag has a 2mm thick tag if you want to print fewer/more durable tags. Printing: I printed this tool on a Creality Ender-3 V3 KE using generic PLA filament and the default 0.20mm Standard settings in Creality Print 6.0. No supports are necessary.
