Este modelo representa uma seção de um Tubo de Perfuração (Drill Pipe), peça fundamental da coluna de perfuração utilizada na exploração de petróleo e gás. Foi desenvolvido pelo Laboratório Maker do SEPT-UFPR como material de apoio para o Curso Técnico em Petróleo e Gás.

A peça permite visualizar as conexões e a estrutura tubular necessária para transmitir torque e conduzir o fluido de perfuração (lama) até a broca. É um recurso tátil excelente para demonstrar como os tubos são conectados em série para alcançar grandes profundidades.

Summary This model represents a section of an Oil Well Drill Pipe, a key component of the drill string used in the oil and gas industry. It was created by the SEPT-UFPR Maker Lab to support students in the Petroleum and Gas Technical Course.

The model helps visualize the connections and the tubular structure required to transmit torque and circulate drilling fluid (mud) down to the drill bit. It is a perfect hands-on resource for explaining how drill pipes are connected to reach thousands of meters below the surface.
