Description
Made a set of 6 radius blocks for guitars, 200mm (8") long, and the width is designed to use standard 2.75" wide sanding paper. Either use paper with adhesive back, 2-sided tape, or masking tape on the block and glue the sand paper to the tape.
I also matched the bottom radius with the top radius, in case you want to put sandpaper on the top to radius the bottom of the nut.
In CURA, disable uniform scaling and adjust the Z axis to make the blocks longer or shorter. Print the blocks standing on end, straight up, and rotate however necessary to avoid having the print seam on the sanding surface.
I printed using PLA+ with 15% infill and 1.2mm (3 walls) thickness and more that solid enough to sand with with no flex. Also used a brim to help keep it down and avoid edges curving.
If needing another radius, please message me and I will create the file for you.
