Description
Hi,
One thing I wanted to print was the logo of the Nintendo 64 console (a truly innovative console of its time).
At first, I printed it in one piece and painted the faces by hand. Even though I took my time with the painting, the result was bad.
Then I came across the design “Nintendo 64 Logo for MMU” from apyrodesign (link : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2944515).
Fortunately, the creator also included a version for those of us without a multi-color printer.
But assembling the pieces wasn’t exactly easy, nevertheless it looked much better than the hand-painted version.
I then realized that I could push the quality even further, with an easier and more precise assembly.
So I decided to create my own version — fully modeled in OpenSCAD and customizable!
To write the OpenSCAD script, I relied on pencil sketches I drew on graph paper beforehand (see the attached photos).
You can change the size of the logo, the thickness of the facade plates or the size of the guides/studs
Here joined are STL files for a Four inches N64 logo, but you can customize it by opening my script under OpenSCAD software or use the online Customizer tool.
There are 6 things to print, none require supports :
That makes 29 pieces in total

Hope you enjoy it !
Edit 2025-04-22 : it seems there's an issue with my SCAD file and the Customizer tool, and I'm trying to figure out what’s going wrong.
Fortunately, it works perfectly under OpenSCAD software.
