Bosch 12V battery protection cap

Battery protection cap to protect the contacts of the
Bosch professional 12V cordless tools Li-Ion batteries.

Works with the latest GBA 12V (advertised as 12V) as well
as with the very first generation GBA 10.8V (advertised as 10.8V) batteries,
which are ever so slightly different in their dimensions.
10.8V type fits tighter than the 12V.

Depending on their capacity rating, they come with a mechanical coding, a rib in a certain location.
Bottom of the protection cap inner is just flat, so not impacted by different variants.
Backside of the cap has a tiny V-notch, to enable the slicer to catch the sharpest edge for the Z-seam.

Why a cap is needed?
During transportation without a device, contacts are open.
So shortcuts could happen by accident.
If you take your batteries onto a plane for example,
you should have the contacts covered.
