Description

The Ortlieb Quick Rack comes with a reflector mount, but I worry that it might rotate on rough terrain with a heavy load on it, so I made this mount that braces itself on two of the rack cross members and attaches with just a single zip tie. This is designed to fit the standard Quick Rack. It might fit the Quick Rack L, it will not fit the Quick Rack Light, and will probably point too high on the Quick Rack XL.

This is designed to use generic Garmin computer mounts- aka pucks- with 20mm or 21mm bolt spacing, or a BarFly puck, also for Garmin computers. There are versions for use with just the screws that usually come with the pucks, or versions that also use a nut for better security, but you will probably need to use longer screws and find matching nuts.

The socket head cap screw in the pictures is only necessary if you use an adaptor that spaces the Varia computer a bit farther from the top of the puck. This prevents damage if the Varia get pushed from behind into the mount. Regular Varia radars/lights will probably lie relatively flat against the back of the mount.

23 May 2025- updated the size of the nut cutouts on the models with them. When printed vertically, they don't need to be oversize.
