Description
I used a stepper instead of a dc motor just for simplicity. I needed to get it built quickly (took a day). Since the stepper timing was known I just used the hall effect sensor to sync up with the initial horse. I designed a adapter to mount the hub to the motor and a new hall effect bracket and used a couple stepper motor mounts from another project. Used a ramps and mega board for the controller and a 10watt led driven from the heater driver with a hefty resistor and heatsink in series.
