Tefen drain valve: Spacer/distance clearance to avoid obstructions

(Let's see if anyone out there ever needs this thing. :-)

For garden irrigation, Tefen makes this little valve, NPTF 1/2" (20.3 mm outer diameter) on one end, unspecified weird thread on the other end (probably BSPP G3/8, 16.3 mm outer diameter). You bury it in the ground alongside the rest of the installation, at the lowest end, and it lets out any leftover water once the water pressure drops, to avoid damage due to frozen water in winter sub-zero temperatures.

It's good to have some space around the end of the valve - first because it pops out a little when engaged, second so the water running out can distribute itself. You should also surround it with pebbles etc. in addition. This thing screws onto the unspecified weird end to keep some free space around the valve.
