Froggy Artisan Keycaps ~ To Print and to Mold

Jump into some froggy fun with these custom-designed keycaps! 🐸 🖱️ MX System Compatible
This project includes four STL files featuring two types of adorable froggy keycaps:

• **1U Froggy Keycap **– Perfect for single keys
• 2U Froggy Keycap – Ideal for larger keys like Shift or Backspace

Each size includes two versions:

ToPrint – Ready for direct 3D printing

These work best with SLA/resin printers to preserve the fine, froggy details and ensure they properly fit the cross shape on your switch. FDM prints are welcome, but may lose a bit of detail depending on your setup. Some testing might be required to make it work, especially in the first layer. I'm not aware of any filaments that will make it transluscent, like the pictures, if you do have them, please let me know!

ToMold – Optimized for silicone molding

The ToMold files are perfect for making silicone molds and pouring resin for custom caps. To get all of the files you need you'll need to visit the Z-Butt Github.

• Get your 1U Files here You need two files StemCavity.stl and 1u-Resevoir-Topper-0.3.stl
• Get your 2U Files here You need two files StemCavity.stl and Reservoir.stl
• You'll also need a handfull of metal dowels. I used 3x16, but you can also use different lengths
• Tin-Based Silicone to prevent Silicone Inhibition if you work with resin prints. I used Smooth-on Oomoo
• Mold Release is always nice
• Plenty of Nitrile Gloves, masks, stirring sticks, wipes, and workspace covers to keep your space clean
• A lot of patience!

😷 If you're working with resin casting, please make sure to:

1. Use tin-based silicone if you're molding from a resin-printed master, to reduce the chance of silicone inhibition.
2. Always wear proper PPE when handling resin and silicone – safety first!
