Alternative ATS-mini Housing Design
This is an alternative version of the ATS-mini housing, offering several enhancements aimed at improving functionality and ergonomics.

Key Advantages:

• Compatibility with a 18650 battery cell
• Front-facing speaker for improved audio projection
• Analog volume control via potentiometer
• Multiple positioning options
• Conveniently placed encoder,
• Power switch in potentiometer
• Integrated string holder, and ergonomic grip

Modifications Required:
To take full advantage of these improvements, some modifications to the radio’s PCB are necessary:

• Desoldering the encoder and reconnecting it using flexible wires
• Extending the speaker wire
• Interrupting the original audio signal paths to integrate the volume potentiometer
• Replacing the power source with a 18650 cell featuring a built-in protection circuit
• Connecting a new power switch

I plan to prepare a step-by-step guide soon to assist with implementing these changes. Please note that due to the compact design, a certain level of soldering experience is recommended. However, the final result makes the effort worthwhile.

• RK097N 10K stereo potentiometer with switch (8 pin)
• small speaker max 19x13 mm
• 18650 aku + optional battery protection board
• brass insert nuts M3xL5xOD4.2 x4
• screw M3x5mm x1
• screw M3x8mm x4
