During high wind, window either gets blown wide open, stressing the snatches and supports or slams shut by wind force.

This window lock/holder is suitable for window type as shown in the photo, usually appears in Hong Kong buildings. It has two parts- the handle and the big screw. The handle has indented groove to accommodate the window frame seal (see photo).
