Description

It is a pretty good childish microphone, but there is no tripod for it. I came up with a mount, and I bought a regular tripod for the microphone.

Assembling

Need threaded inserts:

  • ring base - M5
  • bracket - M5
  • adapter p1 - M6

You'll need bolts and nuts. Everything that is mounted on top of the frame is assembled on the M5, at the bottom - on the M6. Why the size difference: I decided that then greater the load on the connection point, then the thicker parts should be. Now I think, it should be all on the M5, but I don't want to remake solution a this point.

It is advisable to fix the ring with the base on a bolt + nut with nylon, the ring must be movable in order to easily install and remove the microphone.

Frame v1 - v2: the only difference in a position where it's connected to adapter. In the first version, it is closer to the front of the microphone, I misidentified the equilibrium point, the balance is shifted. In practice, it turned out this doesn't interfere. So I didn't check the second version.

Thread on the adapter is 3/8 16tpi. As I understand it, this is the standard of thread for tripods, I made an adapter in accordiance.
