Description
This sculptural segmented bowl is inspired by David Wahl's iconic IKEA PS 2014 pendant lamp, reimagined as a 3D-printed centrepiece.
The bowl is composed of nine segments, arranged around a central base that holds them securely in place. Each segment is interchangeable and slots cleanly into alignment on the base with no special indexing needed.
It's a fruit bowl that is, in my opinion, too good for fruit.
Exterior spray paint:
Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch Satin Spray – Heirloom White (AE0050004E8), 400 ml
This delivers a creamy, ceramic-like finish that closely matches the lamp’s outer shell.
Interior material:
Printed directly using eSUN Silk PLA (Copper) filament.
Masking:
Standard painter’s tape was used to protect the copper interior while spraying the outer surface.
Printer: Creality Ender 3 V2 SE
Material:
ikea ps 2014, decorative bowl, segmented bowl, fusion 360, 3d printed bowl, lamp inspired, sculptural design, modular print, centerpiece, ikea remix
