Multifunctional Adapter Case for Raspberry Pi5 (& Pi4B)

As requested I have Added the file "Multi Pi4B Case v46" which suits the Pi4B Eth and USB connector arrangements.

This case has been designed to house the Waveshare connector adapter which plugs in to the Pi5. The board gives full size hdmi x2, usb C, 2x power connectors, one with breakout and 2x uart connectors.

The case is close tolerance giving 1mm clearance to the board edges which results in a smaller more compact case.

The cover clips in place but you may need a spudger to remove it as its a close fit.

The back case side has a relieving slot to allow the power connector to pass when inserting the adapter fitted to the Pi assembly into the case.

Remember to place some tape over the button on the outside of the case to hold it in position temporarily whilst assembling.

Before tightening the Pi fixing screws keep testing the button operation taking care not to allow it to bind up. See the cross section photo.

The overall height allows for the Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT so other similar height boards should fit in the case.

Fixings used are M2.5 x 6 self tapped for the adapter and M2.5 for the Pi.

Printed on 0.2mm PLA. I did use supports for the case side holes but this may not be necessary on your printer.

I've included Step files as well as stl's as this will make it easier to make any adaptions you may need.

I understand this adapter also fits the Pi4, if anyone needs the case for that let me know and I'll upload a case with a required front panel arrangement.
